KIDS CONFERENCE

Join Plymouth County 4-H staff and volunteers for some educational farm fun! While you get to enjoy your conference experience, your child ages 5-14 can join other youth for our own Kid’s Conference.  New this year, we have limited space for potty trained kids ages 3 and 4! At drop off, kids will be able to enjoy some open-ended activities like crafts, books, Legos and playdough. We will then be switching gears to have a hands-on learning workshop about raising and showing sheep with Cori and Chai, two young sheep that have been raised as educational ambassadors. We will then be jumping into the art of wet felting and creating something to take home.

The kids will have access to snacks and the same healthy lunch options as parents.  You are also welcome to take your child out of the program during the lunch period to eat with you.  In the afternoon we will be heading out to visit the livestock that call Bristol Aggie home and then returning to our home base for additional activities. You are welcome to collect your child at any time, but the Kid’s Conference will officially close at 5:00 PM.

Children will need to have a completed health form before a parent can drop off. We will have a waiver that includes parents phone numbers, allergies etc. but if you have any questions in advance, feel free to reach out to Meg Riley at mriley@plymouthcountyma.gov.
